Recipes of Love
Recipes of Love is a workshop format that brings people together around food, stories and compassion. We know how powerful food is as a way to build connection, trust and commonality, and this workshop uses people’s favourite recipes, and their stories, to do just that. Best in a space with a kitchen where people can cook, but bringing along food pre-made also works. [Remember, you cannot sell any food unless you have the right licences!]

Ingredients
You will need:
- A venue
- Pub

- Community centre
- Park
- House
- Cooks
- Members of the community willing to cook and share a sentimental recipe
- Ingredients
- Ask people who can to donate. If not ask your local businesses for leftovers

How
Set a date, and find a venue. Invite cooks (put out an open invite, flyers etc) and invite people. Bring the ingredients together, meet your neighbourhood and share a meal and your stories.
Each person fills in a recipe sheet and their recipe’s story. These are shared at your meal. Collect the recipes and stories into the cookbook template, and there you have the beginning of your recipes of love
Continue this until you know your neighbourhood and keep going.
